CHAD BOERST

Board Director

Mr. Chad Boerst has over three decades in the medical device industry. Prior to starting ABM Respiratory Care, he served as the Vice President of North America for GN Otometrics who specialized in hearing technology. From 2006 – 2016 Mr. Boerst worked for Hill-Rom in their Respiratory Care division, where he served as the Vice President and General Manager from 2008 to 2016.

 

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Dayton and an MBA from Charleston Southern University.

VINAY JOSHI

CEO

Mr. Vinay Joshi is an entrepreneur with two decades of experience in the medical device industry. In addition to managing early-stage start-up companies, Mr. Joshi held senior roles with GE Healthcare and Hill-Rom, where his responsibilities were focused on respiratory health products in the disciplines of product development and marketing. At GE Healthcare, he worked on diagnostic imaging and life support systems like ICU ventilation. At Hill-Rom, he worked on their airway clearance product portfolio.

 

Mr. Joshi has a degree in Engineering from IIT Delhi and a MBA from IIM Bangalore.

 

PETER SODERBERG

Chairman of the Board

With over 50 years of service in the healthcare industry, Mr. Soderberg currently is Managing Partner for Worthy Venture Resources LLC. Mr. Soderberg also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Tactile Medical (NASDAQ:TCMD).

He also serves on the board and the executive committee of the Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium (MTEC), a 501(c)(3) accelerating biomedical technology research and development in collaboration with the U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRDC).  

 

Mr. Soderberg recently concluded 18 years of service on the board of directors of Integer Holdings Corp. (NYSE: ITGR, formerly Greatbatch, Inc.), a medical technology company. Mr. Soderberg previously served on the boards of Constellation Brands, Inc.(NYSE: STZ) and the Advanced Medical Technology Association. Before his semi-retirement in 2010, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Hillenbrand Industries and Hill-Rom, and, before that, of Welch Allyn. He has previously held executive positions at Johnson and Johnson in a variety of operations, marketing and management roles, including President of Johnson & Johnson Health Management. 

 

Mr. Soderberg received his degree in Engineering and Applied Sciences (Magna Cum Laude and Honors with Exceptional Distinction in Engineering) from Yale University 

ABEL ANG

Board Director

Mr. Abel Ang has been the Group CEO of Advanced MedTech Group since 2014. Advanced MedTech is a US$225M high-growth medical device company focused on expanding its substantial operating businesses in urology, and nurturing disruptive medtech innovations. Advanced MedTech is owned by Temasek Holdings, a US$240B global fund. Mr. Ang was formerly Senior Advisor to the CEO of Integer (NYSE: ITGR), the largest contract manufacturer of medical implants in the world. Prior to Integer, Mr. Ang held several executive roles at Hill-Rom, Inc (NYSE:HRC) including President, Asia Pacific, Chief Technology Officer, and Vice-President and General Manager of Hill-Rom’s US$420M Global Surfaces and Therapy Business Unit; and Vice-President for International Business and Technology Development.

Mr. Ang sits on several Boards of innovative technology companies, including that of Accelerate Technologies which provides access to on of the world’s largest pool of intellectual property and knowledge generated by over 5,000 researchers and staff at A*STAR’s research institutes. 

 

Mr. Ang is also an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Nanyang Business School in Singapore and Waseda University in Japan, where he teaches in their respective MBA programs.

LEAH NOAEILL

VP of Marketing

Leah has over fifteen years experience in medical device marketing. Most recently, she worked at NeuroOne Medical Technologies, a neuro tech startup, where she led marketing and assisted in developing a partnership with Zimmer Biomet. Prior to NeuroOne, Leah held marketing management roles at Smiths Medical leading the Infusion Software marketing and application support teams. Leah also worked at Hill-Rom, managing their Respiratory Care device portfolio. Prior to Hill-Rom, Leah worked at Medtronic where she led marketing efforts for their Connected Care portfolio and implantable cardiac devices.

Leah has an MBA from University of Phoenix and a Bachelors of Business Administration from University of Minnesota.

AMODH GR

R & D Director

Amodh has ten years of experience leading medical device development. Prior to joining ABM, he lead a development team at Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T). He specializes in mechanical and pneumatics design, as well as Matlab simulations. 

 

Amodh has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from SBMJC college.
